In The Beginning .......



It has taken a while to get to here! When I moved to Fordingbridge four years ago, I thought that it is the ideal town for a Folk Club. A community with centuries of tradition - we were already well established at the time of the Domesday Book - and a hub for the surrounding villages and areas of the New Forest. So I thought that in the autumn of 2020 I would gather a few people together and see if we could start a monthly get together for folky music and things. Well we all know what happened to disrupt normal life in 2020 .....

So here we are two years later! My enthusiasm is undimmed, and I have had a fantastic response to putting out initial feelers. Lots of people already liking posts on facebook, and promising to come to the club regularly or occasionally. So what do I do next
